  • Clay Laci mustang

    In my lastest air classic mag.on pg 8 is a picture of a connie.I the background there is a mustang with a chrome prop and Clay Laci on the side.I do'nt know when or where the pic is from.There also is a p40,flying wing and T33 in the pic.Whats the deal with that airplane? Is it in flying condition?

      That is definitely Clay's Mustang. I don't know that he flies it that much anymore, but it is still flyable, and kept at Van Nuys.

      Still pretty much painted up as it was during its glory days, with the exception that the "Omni" markings have been replaced with "Clay Lacy Aviation".

      Way to go Fey Racy!
