  • Camourflaged byrds !

    Let's lighten up !

    Since Finland is not the promissed land of manned aviation and airshows I show you a pic from my recent trip to Lappland in the north.

    There are several birds that are changing their colour right ( from summer suit to winter dress ) now in the pic. None of them are flying.

    What are they and how many are there ?

    I give a hint. They are Ptarmigans. Their number is more than 2 but less than 5. Can you spot them out ?

    They are related with Partridges and Woodgrouses...gamebirds that is.

      Ok since no one seems to have scored them.

      Here they are 3 ptarmigans....and they taste excellent !
