    Re: Third NXT Photos

That is one moby of a CRT in the panel. Are the wingtip trailing edges really as sharp as all that? What's the aerodynamic justification (I'm guessing they're that way for a good reason)?

Two weeks 'til I wing Westward, and I can't wait. I expect an awesome show from Jon and Patricia Sharp and Nemesis. Middlesboro this weekend to see the P-38s fly. Peas

BTW, is this in any way related to the Kee Bird recovery effort?

Sorry, I meant the plane from which the photo was taken. Maybe a straight-wing Citation? It's a very clean wing.

I'd have to agree with the older Citation. Seems to have the same taper.

The other jet is a Magister. There's always one of those at Stead down by the F-1 hanger.

Unless the photo is blurred or something, that wing has too much camber, not enough chord and a sharper leading edge than a older Citation.

Peashooter, I'm green with envy that you're gonna get to see Glacier Girl fly. Bring us back some great stories and photos, please.

I went (drove) by Mr. Eldredge's hangar today. I saw his NXT, Relentless, and Glasair, along with what appears to be a new blender. I'm looking forward to seeing them all at Reno, although I will have to wait until 2005 for Relentless.
