Re: NemesisNXT First Look: Update Full View Photo!

You guys from Lockheed think alike! The best performing R/C Unlimited Thermal Duration glider is the Icon, designed by Joe Wurts, multiple world champion and Lockheed wunderkind.

The icon is an airplane optimized by computer to its mission. and its wing planform looks a lot like the NXT's. (Smooth curve, tapered leading edge.)
    See: http://www.mapleleafdesign.com/icon.html

The molds for the Icon were CNC machined with the structure being hollow molded with a mix of carbon and glass. Like NXT, you can't find any finish flaws on an Icon.

Can't wait to hear Nemesis howlng 'round the pylons!

    You guys are good! Peas

I've looked at all the photos, so where does the cooling air exit the cowling? Also, is the engine intercooled?

Re: NemesisNXT First Look: Update Full View Photo!

Why would there be lights located there? Those 2 holes seem to be the closest thing to cooling air exits that you can see on the plane. I could be wrong but thats my guess.

I would think that those would be flush exhaust ports.
