No. I was hopping to make contact with those who worked at Lean Fan to exchange stories and experiences. I was there during the first flight of the BL standing next to Moya Lear and Bill Surbey.

                Re: Lear Fan 2000

Came to Lear Fan in 1980 from GEASO in Ontario, Ca. Sheet metal fab for a year or so, Fuse. assy. to Certification Special Projects working on the Nacell with Mr. Foley and the tooling crew. Jim Law oversaw the team. Great bunch of people there and an amazing concept.
Best wishes to all my former co-workers and friends at Lear.

That was a sweet looking airplane. I still remember the all night engine testing for certification. The sound of community pride. But then I lived 5 miles away :-)

Back in the day I managed to get one of the signed artist renderings they gave to prospective buyers, its hangs in my office.

                            December 32, 1980.

                            The "Lear Leap Year".

Every year at Reno I try to park in the little lot in front of Moya's old office at least once early in the week and think of thoughts of the River House, Moya holding court, and Shonda singing for the guests.
