Mark, Will... it will be good to get the three of us together! I love the no pressure atmosphere around here these days!

We don't get that much traffic and frankly... we don't care!!.

IF diesel gets reasonable, I'd probably take the coach and stay out there for as many days as possible.. I don't need to party in Reno any more!!

We actually do get a fair amount of traffic but, not enough to support the stupid ads! I have to ditch the ads and update the software for the board ASAP... (gulp)

    We'll get'er'done

Thanks for the kind words as well - I'm like Avis... we try harder!
(sorry, having watched "the Orville" - the Avis rent-a-car moto in the series was classic!)
I guess I don't realize sometimes how lucky I am to be 71 and retired! I can decide to go somewhere that I can't afford, put it on a credit card I'll never pay off before I die and get frickin reward points to boot!!

I'm kind of kidding but what a different world we live in, even compared to 20 years ago!

Markers, we're gonna have to swap back and forth between the D4 ad D2x unless NPR is there!

Kind of a landmark for me, last month and this month, I finally paid off the D4!!!!!!

I'm hoping Sam Davis will send Miss Trinidad up for some shakedown course time. Perhaps we might get Mckinstrys Yak as well.

I wonder who the new Unlimited instructor will be since we lost Sherm?

Miss America, Rushin’ Thunder, Barbara Jean, probably Miss Trinidad and Race 64, maybe some TF’s from Florida too..? Great start to ‘23!

Hey Mark - thanks for a great update - now not meaning to highjack the thread but a quick question - how is Dr Brent's P-51C Mustang coming along ? Thanks again, Mike

The P-51C project is moving along well... looking good!!!! Wayne told me early on that an old friend of ours Dave Leininger might be showing up at the hangar to cover that build, so I've intentionally not been saying much about it out of professional courtesy. Now that Miss A isn't the center of attention, the crew is working on that as well as a P-51D project (Dan Martin's RR III) for the new owner. Both projects are coming along well (the rebuilt wing for the P-51D project arriving just before Reno) and while I was there, they were working on wiring the P-51D wing. I'd say the P-51C project is about 12 to 16 months away from completion - mainly due to the nature of doing two projects at once. The P-51D seems like it's the priority right now (the crew working on it the last two times I've visited), but from what I'm seeing they are devoting a lot of attention to both projects. Once I see/talk with Dave I'll know what he's planning and might be able to say more.

Pat Harker sold off the fuselage. RR wing is being mated to a TF fuselage in Salinas. Two Mustangs from one.

Mark, you are a true gentleman! Do you have Dave's phone number? I can PM it to you, not sure he actually comes here anymore.

BIG PS!! Thanks for helping keep the site alive... I've been monitoring the hardware/software as well as the content trying to decide where to move (the site) before next billing session (annual)
