Beautiful work Will! I'm excited to see what else you conjured up - particularly Bardahl Special, Pretty Polly and Shanty Irish (no pressure )!

very nice Will, especially considering the challenging conditions! It's good to have something nice to remember this year with.

Was it just me, or was "Shanty Irish" running pretty good this year?

It's not just you. She looked great.

It was a tough start to the week, when they had an induction fire. But the damage was manageable and they got it all fixed. After that, she looked real strong for the rest of the week.

Yep, there was a fire, but we got it sorted out. Dusty was going as fast as it would go. His mission with the plane was to see how fast it would go around the course and he found out. That said there might be a little more in it if the exit door would close a little more. I couldn't tell from the pylons on Sunday if it was all the way closed or not. The race on Saturday allowed me to get a couple pics that showed it still open quite a bit.

As Polar Bear on the old course, I think the top speed was about 340 or so. I think Dusty had it at 330 Friday and Saturday, so I'm not sure how far off the speed actually is due to the course change.

It's gotta be right about the same as Polar Bear. 345 was PB's best race speed. On the old timing (subtract about 8 or so mph), puts it slightly above 335. Dusty is right around there, and on the current "slower" course.

I really enjoyed seeing how well Dusty and Shanty Irish did. Unfortunately the livestream messed up for me and I only saw the last lap of Unlimited Silver, I never even saw them taxi out - hopefully there will be a way to watch the whole thing at some point.

Will, all exceptional! I especially like photo2 What a gorgeous shot of an equally beautiful airplane!

Promise, going to fixt the board ASAP! Brain awakening, doing a few odd jobs for my buddy Allen Sprague I thnnk his member is bigal ?? He retired and closed his pool and and spa business here at the coast.. could not find anyone to take it over.. now there's no one other than him within 100+ miles who knows anything even close to how to keep commercial pools and spas running in an area that makes much of its living from tourist income, tourists who expect their pool/spa to work!

ANNNEEEWWAAY... ALLEN does his best to get me off my aching ass and off the couch... I went with him today on a commercial job in Cannon Beach, bad part, supplier sent wrong part... bader part I'm just getting back to tolerating moderate exertion and tomorrow we're going to pull his Bonanza out and wash/highspeed taxi dry and then start annual. I want so bad to buy 1/2 of this airplane and learn to fly on it... Knowing I probably would not be able to solo in it but, certainly should be able to do my basic??? Anyone?? 60's three blade six cylinder V-Tail. Probably not the ideal trainer but... if I could learn to fly on that sucker... LOL!! BTW, Allen is a very high time military trained flight instructor!!!!

ANYWAY, back on topic, Will, again beautiful stuff, my point about the Bonanza is they make awesome A2A platforms! Just pipe dreams wrought up by looking at your dreamy work and... well, dreaming about what we COULD do given access!! Sweet stuff Will!

Got my flak vest on, knowing I'm gonna catch some hell for the absurdity of wanting to learn in a Banana! Not to mention ignoring the fat chance in hell I'd have of winding up with enough $$ to buy in on the airplane and then support it!! LOL But geeeez it's a V-tail! be still my heart and empty wallet.... sigh
