Boise dawn patrol

It's a beautiful morning here in Boise, made even better by the sounds of a Merlin in the air! It's so nice, I got to roll the windows down on my patrol car this morning; something I haven't been able to do for a while! Heard the sweet sound while out an about. Sorry gang, but no pics. But the early morning flight has me yearning for Stead!

I'm in Nampa just a few miles south of the municipal airport. They had a warbird gathering/airshow, something the Warhawk museum organizes. I got to hear them Friday-Sunday. Including the F22 which is ridiculously loud!

I usually go to that event every year, I can't believe I missed it!!! They always have a pretty good group of planes show up!

Speaking of noises I've been hearing what sounds to my ear as a souped up sports class airplane zooming around. Anyone know if there's a sports class racer in Nampa Idaho?
