  • Vern Barker Long Beach CA - anyone here know...

...I was chatting with a friend that had P/F-51's in the Civilian heyday of So. Cal. with Bob Hoover, Ed Weiner and so on. The 'hub' of maintenance, housing and paint seems to have been 'Aero...' and the name Vern Barker. Is Vern alive? I would like to ask him, family or someone that was there then a few questions for a possible 'write-up' I am doing on that era. All positive and my research is for a simple personal-passion-project right now. If anyone might help - please simply reply here.
Wayne - thank you for all you do...and all AAFO'ers!

"Aero Sport" is a restoration/modification business at Chino.

Vern Barker's company was "Pylon-Air" and was based at Long Beach.
