Off Topic... Random plane pics because its dead in here.
A couple weeks ago I was out and about and found a nest of Globe swifts that were itching to fly. Two flew, one just did a run up and then went back to the hangar.
After the two Swifts took off the local P40 decided to stretch its wings.

Bingo. I shot these a couple weeks ago. The blue and silver Swift is o-300 powered, the yellow and silver one, O320, and the black and white one is powered by a fuel injected 210hp O-360. It scoots right along. The P-40 was found in a junkyard in Australia and rebuilt at Schellville about 10 years ago.Originally Posted by Plane Nuts
