    pylon 1.com

I am glad to hear you are still with us Mark, I am still looking for some of your wonderful pictures of dago Red with the old paint scheme on it, that are in air pictures at Reno, is there any place I can find them? I am building a Dago Red rc model for racing this year. As so many people put it Pylon 1 was great. I made my screen saver all pylon 1 pictures and this year I used some of Luvara's pictures, but no body gets them like you do.

      the beast

don't really know if I can bear to bring the Beast and have to leave it unattended duing the event.
I've got parking for it if it could stand the company of a couple of Corvettes. Would'nt want to hurt it's feelings tho.

hehehe - I am well aware that the Vette is a more refined and balanced vehicle then the Cobras. Tell you what - if I can convince the wife unit to let me take her pride & joy - I'll make sure the 03 is all prim, proper, and well dressed for the gathering. We'll just have to make sure the proper percautions are taken to prevent any unauthorized activity .

Thanks for the offer Leo - most kind of you buddy

                    HeHe

Only in the curves Mark. Straight line you'd leave me in the dust.
One of my co-workers has a Saleen replica. 500 HP, supercharger,
etc. and would wax my tail if he could keep the wheels attached to the pavement...
Mine still scares me occasionally, put your foot in it and your over 100 before you can lift it again! My wifes is an older model, back when they got a whoppin' 170 HP out of 350 cubes.
And I'm not anti-Mustang. My commuter car is a 2000 v-6. Good, dependable car I can't get into trouble in...

Offer stands and we'll practice "safe" motoring!

Fast airplanes and fast cars just seem to go together. If I ever make it to Reno, I'll have to save up for the gas bill to drive out there in my '69 Dodge :-)

Hey Mr Lacker - good to see you are still hanging around too. Hope everything is well with you too - I'm just trying to stay out of trouble, ya know. OK, If you bring out the '69 I'll have to bring out the Savage (getting it caged and mini-tubbed next month )... 1320 baby!

                              MARK KALLIO

                              Hello Mark !

Good to hear that you are OK.

I'd make a homepage for my 1/12 WWII aircombat designs if I could. You did a masterpiece; pylon1.com. I'll never forget that experience.

Maybe, when over there, you start to build R/C models like I have been doing the last 15 years. Then we could get drunk and fly em kites in the midsommernite until the morning here in Finland . Go to sauna and eat some sausages and drink a helluva lot of beer.

Whadda you say ? All the best.

                              later,

Whoa, Mark....that's probably almost too good of an offer to turn down. It's the stuff fairy tales are made of.
