Frank Sanders started a P-40 air racer. Eventually became Sue Parish's pink P-40.

I thought that was Bob Downey's P-40 racer project? The engine from that became the 'loaner' motor on "Tipsy Miss" at Mojave '74...and won the Silver race.

The fourth photo looks like a P-40 with Precious Metals' prop.

I've always known this as Frank Sanders as according to the Registry.
But I thought Frank started the racer build and that says he only did the restoration.?

Was Bob Downey associated with George Mokski/Avia-Union ??

Not sure. I only knew Howard Gidlovenko was owner of Avia-Union.
