Same group. With the TF restoration of PM taking so long, they needed something bring in the mean time. Although some OF PM's parts flew on another racer this year.

You can't restore PM to a TF. It was never a production mustang to start with. It can be converted, and that would be an epic fail.

Ya do a bit of sealing and plumbing and add a little chimney, and you've got this...

In reality, you would probably need a bigger tank, and you would probably only be spraying water, rather than having a true boil off, so you might only be able to reduce the intake rather than closing it off altogether....But still

Also would be fun to try some "whale bumps" over the gun ports.

they will be hard pressed to get 400mph out of a even souped up allison.I can't belive they are returning PM to stock config.that really sucks.
