Oh bummer, I spent one night in the Monti Cristo range last week just hoping to rock & roll, but I felt nothing. Slept better than I do at home.
I felt the 6.5er weeks back and it was, wow mother nature is someone to take seriously.
But the sunset and sunrise were rewarding.
I took some photos there and there was a bit of big quake evidence.
NDOT extended the closure of the Coaldale to Mina 95 till the end of the month.

OMG, you guys are really ringing my memory bells! When I was a kid, my dad would get remote jobs sometimes with his contractor employers (he was a mason) I remember a lot of these places! Sometimes we would go with him and "camp out" in the back of his '57 GMC pickup...
WOW.. totally remember the Mizpah!
The look of the old wood also brings back a lot of memories. Up here in the Northwest, wood does not have a chance to achieve that patina before it rots!
