Great pics. The 4th picture looks like one of the props is feathered. Did they have to shut one down?

I was there & from what I heard (How True?) is that all four engines on the Super Snoopy were shot & that Clay Lacy left the plane there.

To my recollection they flew between cruise and METO the whole way and never put any kind of strain on the engines. It flew back to Van Nuys...and was pretty much parked untouched until they flew it to San Diego 9 months later. After that, it got sold and hauled meat for another 4 or 5 years until it was scrapped in Beruit.

Here is a shot from 1973...you can still see the 64 on the front fuselage.
