What's the format? Can't remember which will upload to the board but.. I'd strongly suggest uploading to youtube, they seem to be handling video very well these days. I can also upload it directly here for you but youtube will garner you all the more chance for publicity... good thing in interesting potential partners... (the proper name to use for sponsors)

Keep up the good work and THANK YOU for sharing details here!!!!!

PS, I also upped your file upload quota.. that might just do it.

This should work. If it isn't there now, come back in a bit. It may still be rendering.

8G load test on new Grove wing.

            The Vimeo upload worked.

Wow, using bags of premix really shows how strong the wing is.

            Thanks for sharing.

Now all those strong lads need to do is dig some fence post holes and your set.

Concrete was borrowed. Local feed store was nice enough to let us use their stock for the test.

With all these new spec built planes coming this year we are having to step up our game just to stay in the gold, finished 4th last year, we will be taking around 50 pounds out of the plane which will put us in the 510-520 pound range, that will make us one of the lightest if not the lightest 😎 , we also have a few mods we are doing to the body to help lower the drag,I will post more as she comes along

And also the new built by grove snoshoo wing , total unknown but Robbie says it should be very similar to Judy #44 wing, right now unfinished it weighs 76# boooooom, I'm guessing finished it will weigh around 100#

                      It is, indeed!

I was just lamenting this AM about the past.. A lot of the "old guard" innovators are gone, it makes it easy to think that Air Racing is a dying sport. For sure, we will never see an Unlimited field as we have known in the past. Rarity, cost make that COST to do it, among many other things, will just never allow that to happen.

BUT, we have a new bunch of innovators going at it in what is becoming a HUGE section of air racing. IF1 and SPORT are where we're going to see HUGE gains in speed.. Very hard to integrate new gofast technology into an unlimited! Not so sport and IF1!

Lots more to say on the subject but, a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to those innovators who are both doing it and, SHARING HERE!!!

I just decided, for sure, I HAVE to be at RENO 2018!!!!!!!!!
