UPDATE: Voodoo has been reassembled and the team plans to run some engine tests on the ground this afternoon. If all goes smoothly, we're aiming for a Friday afternoon attempt! In the meantime, we're getting our SHOTOVER Camera F1 system ready for the shoot!

Apparently, a flight test today and the record attempt tomorrow.

Bravo to Stevo and the crew getting everything sorted out with the engine, reassembled, and ready to fly again.

Doesn't leave him much time to get to Reno IF that is still their intention.
Any hiccup and they won't make it. Don't they have to be on the field and teched by Sunday?

They have a week from tomorrow at noon, *if* something hiccups tomorrow Reno might be a stretch, or they pack it up and use the second engine at Reno. If they set it tomorrow they have a week for Reno. The plan the past few days has been Reno soooo

Stevo and his all-star crew worked hard to get the engine fixed and we're doing a flight test today! It’s looking like we’ll be making an attempt at the World Record tomorrow! Stay tuned for more footage

Word is Voodoo broke the record for its weight class, beating Will Whiteside's record, but not fast enough for the Rare Bear top speed record.
They are celebrating as a win.

Steve set a weight class record that is faster than Lyle's record, but he did not exceed Lyles's record by 1% so does not break ultimate record. Steve's speed makes him the fastest man to have flown a piston powered propeller plane in history....
