    2016 was the final year for the USAF operated F-4 Phantoms after 50 plus years of service. The air races held in Reno were one of the last five public appearances before their final flight and Retirement ceremony held at Holloman AFB on December 21.

      Thanks for sharing this. Sad to know we will no longer be able to enjoy these Double Ugly's.

      Have to say other than an extremely low pass by an F-22 Raptor a few years back, these two were the loudest, most visceral experience at Home Pylon.
