Thanks to all who RSVP'd for Kerch's memorial. If you have not done so, please register through the website here as it provides us with an accurate count: http://www.goo.gl/RuUDQ5

We are getting close to the RSVP cap for our pre-ordered lunch count, but will still allow people to join us who have not RSVP'd (no guarantees for lunch).

And please spread the word to others who may be interested! It's going to be a great memorial for our dear friend Kerch.

It breaks my heart that I don't have the funding to make it to this celebration. Kerch meant a lot to many, he comforted me many long hours on the phone when I was going through a very painful separation/divorce many years ago. He was an amazing person and he will always be remembered.

Regret I will be unable to attend the Last Crew Meeting.
Will raise a glass to Kerch at the appointed time.

Look forward to having you there Wayne!

And to all, there is still some space to RSVP. It's going to be a great event and if the weather holds, there will be some cool flyovers!

We're trying to do a livestream feed and will have more details on Friday if it comes to fruition.

For those who cannot make it to the memorial, we are planning a live stream (barring no technical issues), which will start around 11:00am local and end around 3:00pm. The weather is not looking favorable right now, so the flyovers and missing man may be scrubbed. There will likely be a video and slide show going during lunch.

    Livestream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f53UqprKEcs&

    Schedule:
    11am-12pm (gather)
    12pm-1pm (lunch)
1pm-2:30pm (Presentation by Jim Larsen & reflections by others)
    2:30pm Missing Man and Flyovers
    3pm-5pm (reception)

I got in this afternoon, wasn't sure anyone was going anywhere out of PDX this morning.. Flight got late, then "cancelled" due to a mechanical, then we were all almost on a "leftover plane" from yesterday's ice storm, then our original plane was back on, then off, back to the other gate to wait for the leftovers... THEN... back to the original flight, new connections made to cover the hours late that we were... I'm dialed, we push back annnnnddddd.....

Only one deice truck working the ramp "we're bringing on another truck" yep, right after we all waited for 45 minutes for the single truck to finish the three ahead of us, he got us done and then the second truck showed up..

Almost missed the second connection because of the delay deicing.

    Sound like winter airline travel?

For a while there I thought Kerch might be trying to send me some sort of message!! LOL!

    I'll see everyone at 11!
