    Got here last night. Quiet.
This morning see Sawbones parked out there. Czech Mate trailer is in Strega spot.
Team's from all classes are already here and working.

      Just heard them fly over.

That time of year again, second floor home office, hear airplane, run down 15 flights of stairs, turn left, accelerate through kitchen, hit the brakes (socks on linolium) rotate left as I slide to a stop, open mud room door and jump out.

I'd be in trouble if there was ever a sticky spot on the linoleum during my slide and rotate maneuver :-)

I must do that 50 times during race week.

At 62 I still got the excited young man attitude when it comes to air racers.

REC - Best comment I've seen on here in a long time.

Thank you for putting it into perspective - I think we all do this in Sept (relatively speaking).

Cheers to you and see everyone next week!

My wife and friends learned years ago to keep door and window paths clear a week before, during and a week after!

Yes, I would be one of those others!

I am the same way when the T-34s come here (my home airport) to practice before Airventure.

Good to know I'm not the only one who runs out the door at the sound of approaching aircraft.
You'll get your chance, smart guy!

POF's 2 mustangs just left Chino without numbers on them (putting them on at Stead), I doubt the one that just arrived is racing but hey... What's the paint scheme?

NACA Mustang, not actually an H model. It was just escorting the Yak and will leave before the races start.

3 mustangs from Chino just landed. A model and 2 C/D. Doug Mathews just flew by too.

Is Voodoo there, seems like I read they were going to fly up this am.
