Hey Neal, thanks for thinking of me, but this shot was taken couple years ago, so it does not qualify :-)

I do have some shots I want to enter, just been super busy.

Too bad -- is a great picture. I removed it, but it's still in Wayne's post.

Just a few I like. The car was a fluke. I had parked on the ramp and they just happened to pull 232 in behind me.
Unedited except some cropping and sharpening on the f-4.
        Fuji Finepix camera...

Nice shot -- not so windy, I guess. The pylon is upright for this one.

I still have a couple thousand 'real' pictures to sort through....but I only took 10 or so iPhone shots this year.

                  Loving the entries thus far.

Please remember rule #5. "Specify which category the entry is intended for. And the Camera/lense combination used. Also feel free to add narrative to your photo entries."

                    Joseph,

Is there a file size limit?

I cannot upload 3-5 mb files, 1-2mb works fine?

                    Otherwise I can downsample some.

                    Let me know.

                    Hans

No limit if the image is embedded. If it's attached via the forum function, there might be a size limit. I'm not sure.

Two things about the rules, 1) The pics have to be linked from somewhere otherwise there is no way to post them. 2) The anything goes with the processed photos great you can put Voodoo on Pluto. There needs to be some clarification here, the biggest one is the image had to have happened. No composite images. Composite images are cool, and do require a monumental amount of talent to create, but its not photography. Perhaps allowing some basic retouching in Lightroom might be an idea.

                        Just a thought.

                          Hey Will.

The rules are pretty clear. The image can be hosted elsewhere (like Photobucket), as long as it's embedded. Also, there's an edited, and an unedited category. Pretty simple!

Your edited category is too open. I think you will get very few takers for the unedited (Although I just posted one that was straight off the camera.) If basic adjustments like contrast and basic adjustments are allowed in the "unedited" ok, cool, but if those put them in the "edited" category, not really any point in posting anything since you allow composite images that never happened.

The very reason for the unedited is to showcase the raw craftsmanship of composing the original shot. Anyone can tweak in photoshop until something looks good. But to get something really good, as you illustrated above, right off the camera, is always great!
