Very sad news indeed. My first visits to the POF were over 20 years ago, when I lived in LA, and I've enjoyed the annual air show many times. I was always impressed by how much of the collection was (and is) flown on a regular basis. Many thanks to Mr. Maloney for having the vision to establish this place, so many years ago. Blue skies...

Wow, I'm very sad, when my dad was first building the Able Cat Ed was very, scratch that extremely helpful with us. The Bearcat's first flight was from Orange County airport to Chino, the second flight was over to Ontario to get some help from Ed Maloney and his guys at the museum, AL Reddick, etc. Ed was one of the absolutely most genuine people in the warbird business I've ever known. Very, very sad this is a big loss. Thanks to Ed for everything he ever did for everybody.
