Very pleased with 2016 prs showing, we had 15 rookies and 5 certified guys this year , got six of the rookies fully signed off to race in sept and two recertified , the other 9 rookies all have planes they are racing this year and will complete there checkrides in sept, gonna be a sweet year for If1, we have 30 planes showing up in sept with only the top 24 able to race unless they give us a medallion race, I am personally bringing knottygirl #69 and el bandito #10 to race this year and Dash has said I can spin a few laps in ruby the bipe!!!!!!!!! Can't wait till sept

Sounds good. Seems like it wasn't to many years ago, the class was way down, glad to see the numbers returning.

With that kind of turnout, there should be a medallion race. The more racing the better.

with the rumors of who is not coming this year, there may only be 1 unlimited race a day, so why not give IF1 and sport a couple of more races if they have the turnout to fill them.

Here's a few photos from Thursday at PRS. Did a full race start, 6 laps and cool down with queue to land. Everyone did a great job. Really excited for this year.

That's Phillip Goforth in the Falco. They were using it as an instructor aircraft.

The "imposter" in the last photo is Tim Cone in his sport class ride.
