Just saw a Facebook post that Rarebear would not be at Reno this year. The reported source was Chad Ezell. Will any of the go fast airplanes be there?

Voodoo, Czech, Dread, Bones, maybe Brown's Super Stocker, maybe Miss Merced... Wait for PRS to find out some more

What a shame that 2 of the fastest racers won't be there. Hopefully something will change. Will Rod Lewis be bringing any of his planes?

Reno is not on the Lewis website schedule, looks like he will sit this one out entirely.

What a shame that 2 of the fastest racers won't be there. Hopefully something will change. Will Rod Lewis be bringing any of his planes?

The Lewis web sight does not list Reno as one of the events they will be attending. Hope that changes.

Was there any information given why Rarebear will not attend?
Seems it will be quite easy for Voodoo to win this year!
After last years races we were really looking forward to being there again this year. But lets see who will be there in September. There is still hope
And there are other interesting classes as well. Especially IF1 and Sport Class have shown great races in previous years
So we are still happy to be able to be in Reno in September

RR might have some unfixable problem like the Strega[sip] Would give Voodoo a good shot if it does not develop some kind of problem but we still have other class's and of course the Blue Angeles if they do not cancel after there crash which they have already cancelled two shows. So Reno might have to do some working and rethinking.

All I've heard about is the money thing... Same with Tiger he said if he gets a sponsor it'll race, until then it's not leaving the hangar. I'm one of the fans to think that Rod should 'always' have enough spare cash to bring the Bear and even 232 to Reno but he's still human and with the oil industry down and some other personal expenses I can understand the decision. Would be nice if they just cleaned up the engine from last year and put her back out on the course though

After a party they need work and that translates into $$$, I would not be surprised to see more fall out from the lower purse for unlimiteds. The other class's spend $$ also but the unlimited to stay on top take big $$$. As I have been told what works last year might not work this year.
