The book " Forever Flying" was one of my better reads. He is in a class of his own.

We saw him at Hamilton Field, I think it was 1987. One of the best air show's I have attended.

We arrived on Thursday, just as the B-52 was doing an awesome low level fly by...............I later heard one of the radio rattle off ........the phone's are ringing off the hook....The FAA is having a S### Fit!......An F-4 did the same pass about an hour later!

Other than The gathering of Warbirds down in Madera, Hamilton was a great show!

          Great Video, thanks for sharing.
I saw Mr Hoover for the first time at Castle Air Force Base open house. I don't remember the exact year, but I'm guessing around 1958. His routine in the Mustang was the highlight of the show for me. I was fortunate to see him fly several times over the year.
