No, but supposedly Strega had a 504 lap on Sunday.

The guy I was by in the pits had "Strega" at 498 on one lap & I heard it was about 495 average which was pretty fast without the old "Valley of Speed". I wish RARA would put the top speeds per lap & the average for the race.

Hoot's first lap on Sunday-Gold was stated as 503 by the announcer.

Was that the pace lap or the first lap of the race?

Re: Lap Speeds for Unlimited Gold

I had him as follows after the start Lap:
            Lap 2, 494 mph
            Lap 3, 493 mph
            Lap 4, 495 mph
            Lap 5, 498 mph
            Lap 6, 489 mph
            Lap 7, 475 mph
            Lap 8, 467 mph

I was in T-6 pits so my times will be slightly different than at start finish line, and my thumb can be slow at times which will change the lap to lap times.

From my recollection, during a race, the timers only time the entire race, for each aircraft. NOT lap by lap.

Something RARA should probably look into ..

Correct. I had been in touch with one the official timers and this is how he explained it too me. They were looking into getting into some 21st century technology for timing but then the chit hit the fan at RARA and I have no idea where he went or why. Therefor I have no idea what the future may hold. I think there was a thread on it a while back.
You'll get your chance, smart guy!
