Voodoo did not run out of water. There was no metal in the screens. Cracked the coolant header tank on lap 2. Other issues relating to the mayday still to be determined.
Thanks for the details. You never know what's true and what's rumor out there. You guys didn't seem to have your normal speed this year (or your competition gained a whole lot). Were you running conservative because of new mods or were there other issues? Really expected Voodoo to run faster on Sunday.

We were learning something new about the airplane each flight on the course and fighting teething problems while trying to get things right. In my opinion, the best way to put it is that we were a week behind where we needed to be. For perspective, the fuselage and wing didn't get mated until August 17th and testing had to commence after that.
Bottom line is we learned a lot and still have a lot of questions. Such is the nature of the beast.
