Due to the costs, time lost and safety issues with a damaged/blown up engine, I think they are going to have a conservative race and will finish Strega, Voodoo takes 2nd place around lap 3-4, Rare Bear 3rd, then Dreadnought. All bets are in. Time to roll the dice.

I agree.
In Nascar, for example, if someone dominates and just keeps winning all the time, and no one else ever gets to the lead, they call that "stinking up the show". People stop going to see the races, if the same team just blows everybody else off the track.
Probably a little of that, plus they wanted to see what the back end of the Bearcat looks like.
Also, (maybe) probably feeling out just how screwed up the air is following that beast, and how hard trying to get around it on a narrow course would be.
Big Congrats to HOOT!!!
Oh well, my wife's cats are a little too fat, anyways... a week without food won't hurt 'em.![]()
How does it go; I like my crow fried?
Really was pulling for Voodoo but it's cool that Hoot is finally National Champion.
Congrats to Hoot and team Strega. You smoked the field.
Hats off to Stu and team Rare Bear.
Dreadnought 3rd yahoo for the Sanders and team Dreadnought
