It is the week before the greatest motorsport week on earth, and I can hear a pin drop in this forum. Let's pick it up a little...how about Unlimited Qualifying Predictions? Here's my two cents:

1. Voodoo - 497 - The Kid likes to hammer it during Qual's.
2. Strega - 492 - Hoot has always taken a conservative yet strong approach.
3. Rare Bear - 485 - Keeping the Merlin Mustangs honest.
4. Precious Metal - 469 - Faster than ever but taking it easy before actual racing, with that trip home looming.
5. Dreadnought - 438 - Same old reliable.
6. Sawbones - 425 - Slowly improving and filling the spots vacated by Fury, Riff Raff, SOT, etc.

I'm thinking Precious Metal will do better than that. There's a spare engine on it's way in the trailer this year. No need to worry about that flight home kind of stuff......

4. PM - 475 - If she can qualify in the 460's without a full race engine....
