    Resurrecting this thread as 2017 has proven that this is possible and abundant! Four museums are bringing planes this year...

    -Texas Flying Legends (Mustang, Corsair, Spitfire, Warhawk)
    -Planes of Fame (2 Mustangs)
    -Palm Springs (Mustang)
    -CAF (Wildcat)

    It must be amazing to see these museum planes take part! I always enjoy seeing the photos and video but in person it must be a treat.

    If only Jerry Yagen got the La-9 flying and decided to campaign it one year...

    If only Yagen liked racing because he has plenty of planes I would kill to see at Reno.
