  • Johnny M. Kazian.... ?

"Johnny M. Kazian, 81, of Kuna, Idaho died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his home. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home" from the Idaho statesman newspaper, and website for accent funeral home.
Any one know if this is the same fellow that use to announce for Jimmy Franklin and Elliot Cross Dueling Wacos (befoe Kyle was old enough to). I think he did some wing walking too. no additional obit has been published that I could find.

His son Tony is also a consummate aerial performer with Dave Dacy.
A few years ago Johnny, Tony, and Tony's son Nish flew together on the wings of Dave Dacy's super-Stearman (I don't have a photo of that handy...)

Here's a photo of Tony at last year's Waukesha airshow:

thanks guys, the obit was only "published" online I guess. there was nothing more in the paper paper, or at the funeral home site. he was a classic voice of birdmen and barnstormers!

God the shtick was soooooo corny and overdone, BUT soooooo entertaining!

I made shirts one year for my group, the Waco with a wingwalker and in great big letter "OH YEAH!
It was enough for Jim and Johnny to stop the fire truck and come over to the ramp to shake our hands and do some signing.
