Two songs by Gene Cotton from Cloud Dancer, Sainted Angel and Cloud Dancer.
Got to 0.55 mark for Sainted Angel and 5:22 for Cloud Dancer.

Back in the 80s I always thought these would fit in to and air racing video.

I thought this would fit in an air racing too starting at 1:30 mark I even spliced some VHS together in the 80s but it doesn't convert to digital very well.

It's not a very fast piece but the background music to the first half of this interview is one of the prettiest pieces of music I think I have ever heard. I love the skillful editing too.

Elvis! "Beyond The Bend" from "It Happened At The Worlds Fair". The man was flying a Stearman and singing at the same time! Top that! The band and the backup singers must have been out on the wings.

I saw a light, just up ahead
But I couldn't seem to rise up from my bed
I'm not alone, than I am
People seem to think I'm superman
But I watch for the love
I'm living in the day of the eagle, the eagle not the, dove

Its like a weight, that brings me down
If I don't move, I'm on the ground
Its in my mind, Its in my soul
Its telling me the things I can't be told
                I watch for the love
Living in the day of the eagle, eagle not the, dove

                Another day, another night
I want to love, they want to fight
I need the time, I got to be alone
I got to meet a lover on my own
                I watch for the love
Living in the day of the eagle, eagle not the, dove
                Hey,

Wow, what a powerful clip that was. Gave me goose bumps. Definitely need to watch that movie again.
Decades back when it first came out I went to see it. I kind of left the theater with a feeling that it was over the top of reality?? But then I was't there to experience nam.

Be interesting to see what my thoughts are now?

Crank it up for this. Well done video blending the music of 3 x P51s to a classic sound track. This could work in Reno :-)

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

In the spirit of Lefty Gardner and White Lightnin' this is excellent stuff too:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Better rendition of the music here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCCan3TFPoc

If you never saw Lefty grace the skies over Reno, you might not get it though.

I miss the 12+ minute clip on youtube with the same pilot/plane/music.
