The Fed's were quite visible most of the afternoon just East of A2 on both sides of the runway. I doubt hey were there to work on their tans.

I fear before long, Reno will simply have an airshow with a "Demonstration" race with a few stockers putting around the course.

I am sure its been covered, but exactly how many officials are involved in making the call as to if a racer did or did not fly according to the rules ?...Are there multiple officials watching that have to come to a majority decision when making this kind of call?...As example would it take 3 of 5 officials seeing it the same to make the final decision ? Or is this just one or two people seeing or thinking they saw a rule infraction making that judgement call ?...Tiger certainly appeared to be pushing the limits regarding the altitude rules in his DQ race, but I certainly never noticed any of Thoms laps looking particularly way off line in person nor in his cockpit vid

Something will have to be done before next year or I am sure many pilots will decide to sit it out...The new course rules had already been aggravating enough to many, and now adding little ticky tacky judgement calls that sour an entire race teams hard work will really put a turd in the punch bowl when assessing any future efforts.
