        Maybe Thom just shut it down to limit damage? I know that is usually not a good idea with the contra props, but wishful thinking....

          Well don't forget there have been three new records set, record number of entries in Sport, and that most of the top unlimiteds have new (untested) engine programs this year.

                  Could not agree more. Want to see good racing? Watch the F1 Gold heats. The top 4-5 airplanes are very close in speed this year.
