Second picture is gorgeous!!!!! Thank you!

And Bikenutty, I've heard rumors on top of rumors about PM sandbagging very hard so far with a lot of surprises left. Anything else you know of this far?

        I'll second that, beautiful picture!

As for PM, you can even hear it in the engine -Thom hasn't pushed it very hard at all.

That Voodoo shot works for me, too...

Florian -- just out of curiosity you use a D300, don't you? What lens?

                Hi Neal,

I use a D300s together with the Nikkor 80-400 lens (the old version without autofocus motor in the lens). But I can tell you that without good contrast or backlight on the (fast moving) airplanes the AF precision at 400mm is not the best. For static objects no problem.

Thank you -- that's what I thought I'd remembered you saying. Just goes to show you do do not need the latest and greatest hi-tech hi-buck technology to do fine work. You need knowledge and skill.

                    Well done...

Do my eyes deceive me or is PM leaking a ----load of fluid starting just aft of the engine?

The prop on Strega was off last night. They got it back on and left as of about 11:00.

Haven't made my way down this morning to see what's happening.

PM struggled to start. Lot of flame and very rich. Seems to be idling ok now.

PM taxiing out all planes running.
