Jerry Yagen’s Famous Mosquito ??

About a year ago, it was reported on various websites that this Mosquito was sold. Does anyone have any info about it. Where it is? Has it been flying? Any airshows where it might attend? any info etc etc. Thanks

It did not sell. It has flown a couple of times locally, and probably won't be at many airshows. He would not even take it to Oshkosh without a lot of appearance money

Last known appearance was in May at the Virginia beach airshow, Kiwi photographer Gavin Conroy got to do an amazing air to air session with the mossie and me262, check out classic aircraft photography on facebook for some of the pics

Last known appearance was at Geneseo last month, where it flew with Ron Fagen's P-38.

I believe that Rod Lewis was hoping to buy it, but Yagen withdrew everything from sale so Lewis went off and bought a different one instead.

Looks like a BIG project, but some of these guys are real craftsman..........still waiting for the day I get to see a Mosquito, let alone get to see one fly.........or better yet, getting to fly one WOW.

And what exactly do you guys think Yagen started with? A pile of firewood, with some salvageable metal parts. And look at it now!
