Thank you. Congratulations to Mr. Guilie. That's a very respectable speed for #6 - do you know what type of F1 she is?

    EDIT:
    Aha. I found the answer:

Photo dedicated to the owner and pilot Christian GUILIE who completely designed and built this Formula 1 Racer from scratch. It took him 4 years to complete his work. This little bird of 240kg empty weight flies around Reno style poles at a speed well above 400 km/h. - Photo taken at Saint-Flour - Coltines (LFHQ) in France on August 14, 2010.

She sure looks like Nemesis, eh?

              Thanks, Sam.

In this photo, it looks like he's built more than one (at least the other one doesn't look like a mold to me):

Could be just the ticket for you.

Does anyone know how the course layout compared to Reno? From the on board video it looked like a tighter pull around the turns in Sapin.

There's a course layout diagram on AirRaceF1's Facebook site:

That would be just fine with me. I might have to have side-blisters on the fuse to let my shoulders stick out, as narrow as it is. Looks interesting in the photo with both fuse's built up. Would make for an interesting Pond Racer copy, albeit much smaller! Twin pseudo-Nemesis?, Twinesis?

                      Re: F1 Race in Spain

Frauke and I just came back from Lleida. Had a wonderfull time.
Jeff, Sinzy and the rest of the crew managed to organize that event very well.
(B.t.w. they are extraordinary nice people). Media response was good.
The videos (links above) show very well what there was going on.
As far as I know, this was the first race outside Reno since 2006.
And bringing teams from England, Scottland, France and USA together
to make it a real International Formula One event was a huge success.
There where types of planes, we never saw in Reno.
Steve, Jay and Thom had a lot of fun, although the gold winner is from France.
Christians F-PIGC (pigracer, competative ??? - sorry Isabelle & Christian, couldnīt
resist) is a piece of art. And the Busards have wooden airframes (which canīt be
                      taken apart for transport.)

Canīt wait for next year. Now I really need some sleep ...

P.S.: There were the spanish aerobatic championship with 3 classes to watch
and on Sunday even some airshow going on too.

                        Congratulations Thom Richard
The third position is a very good one. To be in the podio is enough.
                        All the best for Reno!

#6 also has a bone stock engine , with a race engine that thing would be scary, it flew from Europe to Spain, act they all did all but the USA planes that went by boat
