  • Three F-86's???

So I was just checking the ACC schedule to see if we were going to get a Heritage Flight (I love them) this year. I was surprised to see that not only are we scheduled to get one, but the participating planes along with the F-22 are three F-86's.

Now that's just awesome. But it also gets me thinking, how many groups of three 86's are out there?

Thanks for the news and link; that certainly made my night.

I'd guess that Planes of Fame has something to do with that (the F-86s).

        Horsemen?

They seem to be operating under deep cover this year, with their website not having been updated since last year.

That's what I'm hoping for. Their schedule for 2014 is out but only lists five shows.........................and a big hole in the month of September. Not sure if that would be too much for Sr. to do at one event though. He has his hands pretty full now.

Interestingly Ed Shipley is no longer a rated HF pilot, so I presume that someone else (Kevin Eldridge, perhaps) would need to fly the third HF F-86

Yeah, I was going to point out the Horsemen as the likely threesome.
                No pixels were harmed, honest.
