    okay I need some engineering knowledge Corky Meyer air classics there was a flying boat that had a vortex generator between the tail booms for some reason can anybody else explain
    I think they said it was to make the Rudders more functional or the horizontal stabilizer I can't remember somebody please shed some light

      it was many years ago and it had a Y shaped duel tail section I don't think it was a Martin but it was around the time of a PBY the article was 8 years ago now it explains why there was a square vortex generator between the wing roots of the fuselage
