I can assure you, that is an example of statistics..

There have, indeed, been few posts over the past few days, I'd thought it was just a pondering of yet another loss in the warbird community, maybe there is more there than I reckoned?

Yes I know the old joke about the Engineer and the Statistician. It's kind of a quiet time of year really. I'm sure the recent loss hasn't helped. Neither has the sound of silence from RARA. Their site was last updated December 31st to say tickets would go on sale March 1st.

I flew over and talked to Seghettis (Sparky) yesterday at the Nut Tree. they haven't herd boo from RARA.

Seems like RARA's new ad campaign is not very effective. I thought the idea with social media was to socialize. I see posts on Facebook from NAG and P-51 Mustang almost everyday. Thom Richards crew is very active. I can't find RARA there at all.

RARA is only a shell right now.

I still think what little is left is just waiting for the insurance bill to arrive?

I thought I read somewhere that it will happen around March 1st.

I'm not sure why the new marketing company hasn't at least started a little teasing.

Heck its almost March and 197 days left.

Hopefully a lower premium will move things along?

Wendover by the Bonneville Salt Flats has a old WWII airport with some history. Sure they would be proactive to start a annual Air racing event before Bonneville Speed Weeks in September. Probably a lot less red tape. its a great place for all sorts of speed records : -)
