Having come into the game of making information about RENO more available to the world many years ago, it just amazes me at how MUCH wonderful content is easily available today via the Internet and astute "surfers"!

Only I believe that tailwheel is actually fixed...

Many, if not most, of the German target tug Sea Furies were operated with fixed tailwheels. At least the two seat ones anyway. I imagine it had to do with reliability and maintenance issues and, in many cases, the decision was made that simplicity was more important than a very small perfomance gain. N613RD was one of those ex-German tugs which probably explains the situation. The Royal Navy Historic Flight's late, lamented two seater WG655 was also an ex-tug and had a fixed tail wheel.
