I just received Dave Mueller’s Conquest 1 print this week. This is one of my favorite all-time racers—pilot and plane. A beastly looking Bearcat with an awesome paint job, Darryl Greenamyer and this plane dominated in their day. Dave has captured the powerful essence of this famous racer. The bright yellow fuselage replete with eagle treatment and the big, orange propeller just pop against the background of the high desert.
Along with Rare Bear, Voodoo, Galloping Ghost, Strega, Steadfast, Precious Metal, and now Conquest 1, I have quite the air racer collection. Thanks, Dave. Keep them coming.
