  • Chasing Reno Gold at Planes of Fame Feb 8

Looks like Mira Slovak, Darryl Greenamyer, “Secret” Pete Law, Chuck Lyford, Clay Lacy, Steve Hinton, and Steven Hinton are all scheduled to attend. Sounds like fun!

See you there. Chino is only one hour from San Diego in my C-150.

Ok, it would take me about 6 semi-legal hours on my R1200GS BMW, with no CHP participation, from Sacoftomato. Worth it? Hell yes! This is one great collection of Masters. Only the addition of Kerch could make this a full house.

Had a great day. It was an honor to see and hear first hand stories of old, what's happening now and hopes for the future of air racing. These guys are all class acts. Big thanks to everyone who made this happen. I will remember it forever. For those that haven't been to Chino, there's some great airplane history to be seen. Spectacular sunset ended the day.

I went to it and enjoyed to panel discussion. (Mira Slovak was unable to attend). A few interesting stories, but definitely a vibe of concern about the future (lack of TV, declining sponsorships, aging demographics).

BTW, if anyone wants to buy Shockwave, DG made a pitch looking for someone to buy it or sponsor it.
