Victor, your images are amazing! I'm sincerely grateful that you share them here and I hope that they inspire visitors to seek more information about the "World's Fastest Motorsport" and the Reno Air Races and Air Show.

I do know that I'm in for some serious eye candy anytime I visit this thread
What I don't know is how you do it as consistently as you do Victor - awesome shots for certain.

Mark & Wayne, you are responsible for putting me on the path to photographing these amazing aircraft.
Thank you to both of you for Pylon 1 and AAFO!

Wow Victor, that statement means more to me and I suspect Mark, than you may ever know!

As for P1 and AAFO... Mark's been on "vacation" for FAR too long!... Stand by for much more from the "venue"...

So I have a question: Are helmets not required in the Biplane Class? In all of the photos I see of Tom Aberle, he is bucketless. It's a stylish look, don't get me wrong. Was just curious. Thanks

                      PS- AMAZING photography!!!!!!!!!!

That's very gracious of you to say Victor - I'm quite touched by your comment (just as I know Wayne is)

It's comment's like that and others I've had on the site that made me decide to bring it back at some point in the near future. Truth be told, I have about 60 articles done now (that includes photo galleries) and although I have been working on restoring the site for 4 months, there is a boatload of stuff worth bringing back so it's going to take more time. Now that I'm going back to work next week, that's going to put things on a slower production level (I've been on unemployment for the last 7 months) but on the good side - things are pretty streamlined now that all the bugs have been worked out, so I'm just going to keep plugging away at it as time permits. So as Wayne indicated - I've been on vacation far too long... P1 will be back, and hopefully sooner than later (I may have to cut back my ambitions a bit for opening content - but we'll get 'er done and open up the site when the time is right).

So thank you Victor, it's always gratifying to know you had a positive influence on something or someone, and in this case, on someone so talented he's set the bar at an almost unattainable level for the majority of photo geeks out there.
