Re: Observations from Inside the Course

Really enjoy the energy in the pits more than anything but I have to say, standing on the fence watching, hearing and feeling an unlimited go by is an experience like no other! Why did FAA push people back? Tired of Gov't officials thinking they have to protect me! They just assume we are all stupid, have no clue about the risk and have to mother us. I know it's in their DNA! Soon we will have to have a permit to operate our lawn mowers.

P.S. I proudly display a RARA license plate!

this isn't the fastest motorsport in the world. That belongs to the Bonneville salt flats..........
      Perhaps but,

The NCAR is the fastest racing in the world.

Hear, Hear. The cul-de-sac was a good photo opportunity. Only transients were moved back, residents stayed. I had tickets and a pit band, as did many of the folks I saw last year.

Really? How many 490+ records stand at Bonneville? None.
