  • Ready!

Weather looks good for next week, smoke clearing out.
Work projects on hold or passed to other capable hands.
Brain grinding gears trying to stay out of air race mode until 4:30 p.m.
    I AM READY!
Here's to a safe, fun and profitable year!
If anyone recognizes me out there, please say hi!

    Leo,

I bet the T6 formation flyover this morning for the Balloon Race opening ceremonies didn't help keep your mind focused on work LOL

      Re: Ready!

My wife heard them. My son looked out and saw them. When I got outside (moving slow, back is out) all I heard and saw was JAFC (Just Another F*ing Cessna).

This is the hardest day of the year, kinda like a kid on Xmas eve...

My home office is on the second floor, and yes, air race week is hard to focus on work. But let me tell you I get a great workout running up and down the stairs everytime I hear something other than a JAFC fly over.

Once I get to the bottom of the stairs I hang a left, and then its full throttle across 24 ft of kitchen (vinyl flooring), when I hit the binders sliding I rotate 90 degree to left, all in one fluid motion. Socks and slippery floor help this manvouver as I fly out the back door.

At 59 I can still hear my mom in my conscious - no running through the house!

Speedy navigation around obstacles and a planned route are essential!
