If it was like Victor's last "spy pic" it would have an F-86 wing and empanage!!

Ok, the Squirrel didn't get a hold of this one! In her primer and composite splendor, this was an hour ago. These are all the major aerodynamic mods made to PM this year. Scoop, trailing edge Strakes, Canopy and wingtips.

Go ahead, start picking it apart!

Hi Thom~ Big Thanks for posting this historic PM A-2-A test-flight capture! Without giving up too much S-2, anything you can share regarding your first impressions on how she flies & handles now, compared to before the new 'bells 'n whistles'?

                Thom,

Damm, she looks sweet. I really like the canopy, no sense in spending all the time and money if you can't take her up once in a while and share the experience with a friend.

Thanks to you and your crew for taking the time to interact and share on this site.

Looking good! Paint the whole thing white with the same yellow trim scheme as last year!
Even if its painted and not bare metal, it will still be PM. IMHO

It could be photoshopped to remove the protective moving blankets flapping in the wind.

The new canopy looks good. I was trying to compare it to the old one, other then the glass extending back further, the new one looks similar in profile to the old one, is it a different shape? The plane looks great, can't wait to see it at Reno.

What a great idea Thom, fly in a gold racer! Still can't believe what you've done with this plane.

Welcome to the hangar!! I can't recall reading if there actually will be space for another person or if this was strictly for aero...

Thom, if there's a removable seat back there, you are a freakin' genius!

                              I want a ride!!!

I guess I could be wrong but this was circulating at PRS and with the space behind Thom in the picture, it looks jump seat-ish. If not, hey Thom, I have an idea!
