            That is truly amazing. Wonder if that would be possible today, especially having to remove the dirt in order for clearance? And I know I shouldn't say this, but I can't stop myself, do you think they should have been shrink wrapped?

              Wild, this same thing just popped up on another totally non-related forum this morning. The A12s were trucked from Burbank to Groom Lake simply because they couldn't fly them out of Burbank due to the fact that someone would both hear and see it depart. The Roadrunners site is pretty cool. Until today, I'd never seen those pics before.
