Excuse me while I pick my jaw up from my keyboard.

T Adams, that is an awesome shot!

Who says B&W photos are boring. It only enhanced ALL the details we couldnt see in the color version of this same pic. Bravo sir... Bravo!

Dang, Tim. That is one incredible shot. Looks like the PM boys had the flux capacitor working overtime that evening...

I think that's got to be one of the best B&W shots I've seen!

Are you related to Ansel Adams? If so, it shows, if not, he'd be mighty proud of you. That's a fantastic picture.

Man you need to make posters out of that! I'd buy at least 2!

                      Tim Terrific,
I thought the color shot was magnificent, but this one is really fabulous.

Nice rendering! After all we went through to get that shot, I'm glad to see it was worth it!

Re: For the black and white fans

VERY cool! You can see that the shutter speed corresponded to about 1 turn of each prop- every "tesla arc" from hub to tip is composed of three distinct traces- one for each prop blade and its slightly different shape and surface contour reflecting the same sodium light source to the camera.

                          Bravo!

                            Hi Tim,

                            excellent job !

May I ask, how you got so many reflections on the prop ?

After checking my own pics, I guess I would have to lay
maybe 3 slightly different (light or prop position) as partly
transparent layers over each other. Never tried that, but
                            might be interesting.

                            Best Greetings from Hamburg (GER)

It has to be just the sodium lights and the 10 second exposure time. I added nothing in Photoshop.
