Looks like John Parker was turning laps faster than his qual. speed during the race today. Hope he has even more speed for Sunday!

    Re: Blue Thunder II

That is great to hear! John Parker is one of the most low-key, humble yet experienced and expert air racers on the planet. I don't there are many humans alive with the number of laps he has around the Reno courses (he held the F-1 record for many years). He deserves some great fortune at Reno in 2012!

        Re: Blue Thunder II

John Parker and the Blue Thunder Air Race Team appreciate your comments and support. As always, the 51 Aero telemetry system that was built up specifically for Blue Thunder II is providing us with lots of great data. We pour over the data and inspect the engine after each race to see what can be improved and where. We have three races to go and we will do our best.

Lowell - Joseph, Benjamin, and Matt stopped by yesterday. Very glad to see them at Reno.

        Thank you all,
        Bill Pearce

Actually, Dave Morss has the most laps around Reno. Well documented in many circles to confirm. I'm sure John is way up there, though.
